BARTENDER & CAFÉ SUPPORT — THREE BEANS CAFE

Location: 7150 E. Fifth Ave., Scottsdale, AZ
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time — 30+ hours available
Pay: Bartender — $12.15/hour + tips | Café Support — $16/hour + tips
Schedule: Shifts vary and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and late nights

Three Beans Cafe is difficult to compare to anything else—because there really isn’t anything else quite like it. We’re part café, part cocktail bar, part bodega, and entirely our own thing. Espresso martinis meet perfectly pulled shots in a space built around great drinks, genuine hospitality, music, energy, and an atmosphere that feels unmistakably Three Beans.

Our vibe isn’t just how the space looks or what we serve. It comes from the people who work here—how we welcome guests, care for people, support one another, and pay attention to every detail.

We’re looking for people who naturally fit that identity: caring, accommodating, pleasant, dependable, and fun to be around. Skills can be taught. Caring about people, quality, standards, and your team has to come naturally.

HOURS & SCHEDULING

Three Beans is open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Scheduled shifts may begin as early as 9 a.m. for opening preparation. Closing shifts may end after 2 a.m. once all closing responsibilities are complete. Shifts will vary, and applicants should be comfortable working a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends, and late nights.

BARTENDER — $12.15/HOUR + TIPS

This isn’t a traditional bartending position. Our bar program is built around a curated menu of coffee-forward cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders are the face of the guest experience and help set the tone for the entire room.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome every guest warmly and make them feel genuinely cared for
• Create memorable experiences through conversation, attentiveness, and thoughtful service
• Prepare cocktails from our curated menu with consistency, quality, and care
• Learn and respect our recipes, processes, presentation, and service standards
• Assist with coffee beverages and support the café side during peak periods
• Anticipate what guests and teammates need instead of waiting to be asked
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service
• Step in wherever needed to protect the guest experience and support the team
• Bring positive, fun energy while remaining professional and dependable

CAFÉ SUPPORT — $16/HOUR + TIPS

Café Support is the backbone of Three Beans. This role keeps the operation moving, protects the quality of our products, and gives bartenders and the rest of the team what they need to take great care of our guests.

This is an active hospitality role—not simply a behind-the-scenes position.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare coffee beverages and pull quality espresso shots for coffee cocktails
• Learn and follow our recipes, processes, and quality standards
• Keep clean glassware and dishware stocked and ready throughout service
• Clear used dishware and help keep the entire venue clean and guest-ready
• Support bartenders proactively and anticipate what the team needs
• Run drinks, welcome guests, and cover the cashier station when needed
• Move comfortably between coffee, service, cleaning, stocking, and guest support
• Take ownership of the details that keep the Three Beans experience running smoothly
• Bring a positive attitude and team-first energy to every shift

Hospitality, bartending, or barista experience is strongly encouraged, but experience alone doesn’t make someone a Three Beans person. We care just as much about your attitude, awareness, work ethic, and how you make people feel.
