Gynecologic Oncology- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont FayettePiedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Gynecologic Oncology team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. This Advanced Practice Provider will be working under the supervision of a Physician with duties in an outpatient clinical setting. Full-time position with some call responsibility.Responsibilities:Rounding and managing patients admitted to the hospital as inpatientPerform standard exams and procedures in order to perform initial evaluation of inpatient and emergency room consultsProvide consultations and evaluate patients in office setting with supervision and clinical guidance as neededParticipate in the monthly call schedule shared by two physicians and another APPAssist with management and triaging of clinical related patient phone callsAssist with management of results, rx requests, patient messages and inquiries via EPIC (the health system EMR)Contribute to excellent patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and leadership to the organizationEmphasize health promotion for patientsCoordinate chemotherapy treatmentsAugment the physician's ability to provide medical services to gyn oncology patientsQualifications:Required Experience:Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification--or--Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National CertificationPreferred Experience:Gynecology experience preferred, but not required.Piedmont benefits:Competitive SalaryComprehensive BenefitsEPICQuality, Service, and ReputationPiedmont Medical Care Corporation
