About the Role IntelliSource is seeking an experienced Asset Protection (AP) / Safety Coordinator to support facility security, employee health and safety, regulatory compliance, training, auditing, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced distribution or fulfillment environment. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of Asset Protection and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs while partnering with site leadership, operations, associates, contractors, and external emergency response resources. The AP / Safety Coordinator will help identify and reduce operational risk, maintain regulatory and company compliance, support incident response, and promote a safe and secure workplace. Contract Duration: Immediate start through an estimated date on or around December 31, 2026 with final dates based on business demands. Primary Responsibilities Asset Protection & Facility Security Support the implementation and execution of facility Asset Protection policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. Partner with facility security personnel and operational leadership to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Monitor and support facility access control processes, systems, and equipment. Assist with identifying, documenting, and escalating potential security risks, policy violations, loss-prevention concerns, or suspicious activity. Support investigations and incident reviews within assigned scope of responsibility. Maintain appropriate documentation and records related to Asset Protection and facility security activities. Assist with emergency response coordination and summon emergency services when necessary. Environmental Health & Safety Support compliance with applicable OSHA requirements, company safety standards, environmental health and safety requirements, and other applicable regulatory guidelines. Conduct routine facility safety inspections, observations, and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, and compliance gaps. Conduct daily building audits and other required safety or operational compliance inspections. Communicate employee health and safety risks to facility and operational leadership. Assist leadership with corrective actions related to identified safety concerns. Support emergency preparedness programs, including evacuation procedures and emergency response plans. Maintain current directories and contact information for emergency response personnel and resources. Participate in incident investigations, root-cause reviews, and corrective-action follow-up. Support programs designed to reduce workplace injuries, incidents, near misses, and operational risk. Compliance Auditing & Reporting Conduct scheduled and unscheduled safety, compliance, facility, and food-safety audits, as applicable to the operation. Document audit findings and prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports. Track identified corrective actions and support follow-up to ensure issues are appropriately addressed. Maintain required records, logs, inspection documentation, and compliance materials. Review trends across inspections, incidents, observations, and audit findings to identify areas requiring additional attention. Escalate significant or recurring compliance concerns to appropriate leadership. Partnership & Collaboration Build effective working relationships with operations leaders, employees, Human Resources, Asset Protection, Safety, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Support assigned projects, initiatives, and operational activities through timely execution and follow-through. Assist with implementation of process updates, procedural changes, and compliance initiatives. Demonstrate working knowledge of the business operation and understand how safety and Asset Protection practices support overall site performance. Escalate risks appropriately while partnering with stakeholders to identify practical solutions. Participate in site meetings, safety discussions, operational reviews, and other collaborative forums as required. Data, Reporting & Digital Literacy Gather, review, and interpret safety, compliance, Asset Protection, workers' compensation, and operational data. Prepare reports using established templates, systems, dashboards, or reporting tools. Review data across multiple systems to validate completeness and accuracy. Perform basic data-quality checks and identify discrepancies requiring correction. Use technology and digital applications to execute routine transactional and administrative responsibilities. Track key metrics and trends that support site leadership decision-making. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate administrative and reporting processes through available technology. Communication & Influence Communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely with employees, leadership, business partners, contractors, and external resources. Present relevant facts, findings, risks, and recommendations in a structured and credible manner. Adapt communication style based on the audience, situation, and level of urgency. Actively listen, ask appropriate questions, and provide constructive feedback. Use data and fact-based information to support recommendations and corrective actions. Build productive professional relationships across multiple functional areas. Process Improvement Identify recurring safety, security, compliance, or operational risks and recommend practical improvements. Support corrective and preventive action plans resulting from audits, incidents, or identified performance gaps. Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives focused on reducing risk, improving compliance, and strengthening operational consistency. Assist with documenting and standardizing processes, procedures, and best practices. Monitor implemented changes and provide feedback regarding effectiveness. Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, training, and risk prevention.

Maintain professionalism and composure during incidents, investigations, emergencies, or challenging conversations. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Safety, EHS, Security, Workers' Compensation, Compliance, or a related operational support function preferred. Experience supporting workplace safety or EHS programs. Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace injury-prevention practices. Experience conducting safety or compliance audits. Working knowledge of workplace safety practices and general OSHA requirements. Ability to conduct facility inspections, observations, and compliance audits. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare professional reports and maintain accurate documentation. Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, digital systems, and reporting applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information. Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and elevate potential risks. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a distribution center, fulfillment center, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or high-volume operational environment. Experience supporting workers' compensation or workplace injury processes. Experience facilitating or supporting employee safety training. First Aid, CPR, OSHA, or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Ability to regularly walk throughout a large warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment facility. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during inspections, investigations, and operational observations. Ability to work in an environment that may include varying temperatures, noise levels, powered industrial equipment, and high levels of employee and equipment activity. Ability to respond promptly to incidents or emergencies throughout the facility. Flexibility to work varying schedules based on operational requirements, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed. Because this is a safety-sensitive position, job offers extended to candidates will be contingent on your ability to successfully clear post-offer criminal background screening and drug testing. Qualified Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate commensurate with market benchmarks. Hourly rate of $28-32/hr + overtime potential. Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
