Job Title: Dietitian (WE Center) Location: Atlanta, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 298565 Responsibilities Provide nutrition counseling (primary and preventative interventions) and follow‑up care to students through self‑referral or medical referral. Provide medical nutrition therapy as required based on treatment plan, including assessment, treatment, evaluation, and nutrition education. Follow HIPAA and FERPA guidelines throughout the nutrition counseling process. Provide inclusive services focused on a health‑at‑every‑size approach, Intuitive Eating, and non‑diet weight‑inclusive approaches. Partner and consult with campus dining services to support menu planning, promotional/orientation activities, and outreach to students with nutrition concerns. Develop and present health education and promotion programs, training, workshops, social media, and outreach initiatives on nutrition education and body positivity. Collaborate with staff on departmental and interdisciplinary projects, coordinating nutritional programming and related activities with various campus departments to foster relationships with community partners extending nutrition, body image, and eating disorder support services to students. Serve as a member and provide direct support to the Multidisciplinary Eating Disorders Support team. May supervise graduate assistants, dietetic interns, and student employees in planning, implementing health programs, objectives, and goals. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition or equivalent and experience. Required Certifications, Licenses or Permits: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) License, licensed in the State of Georgia. Required Experience: Three to five years of job‑related experience as a Dietitian. Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications: Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Knowledge of health promotion, behavior changes and population‑based theories; evidence‑based health promotion programs/initiatives; environmental management strategies/ecological model; and student development theories and models. Preferred Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Public Health, Health Promotion, Health Policy or Health Education. Abilities & Knowledge Knowledge of the concepts of Health at Every Size, intuitive eating, and non‑diet weight‑inclusive approach. Skills: Professional level knowledge in the field of dietetics and nutrition, especially as it applies to adolescents and young adults and to patients with or at risk for eating disorders; oral and written communication skills; relationship building; detail orientation and follow‑up skills; ability to work independently and as a team member; use of office and specialized computer applications required. Other Information Salary range: Up to $70,500.00 per year. Location: Atlanta, GA. Job grade: S6. This is not a supervisory position and does not have financial responsibilities, a driving requirement, a purchasing card, security clearance, or a travel requirement.
