About This Role
Location: DeKalb County
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable Infant Childcare Teacher to help create a comfortable, secure, and stimulating environment for infants.
This position requires someone who is attentive to each child's needs and understands the importance of consistent routines, responsive care, and positive interaction during the earliest stage of development.
What You'll Do Responsibilities- Provide hands-on care and supervision for infants
- Follow individual feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care schedules
- Respond appropriately to infants' needs, cues, and comfort levels
- Engage children through age-appropriate songs, movement, sensory play, and interaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the infant classroom
- Monitor children's health, safety, and overall well-being
- Document meals, diaper changes, naps, and other required information
- Maintain open and professional communication with families
- Help prepare and sanitize classroom materials and equipment
- Follow all applicable childcare, health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous infant childcare teaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
