This role involves cleaning, deburring, and cosmetically finishing machined parts in preparation for final quality processing and shipment, and may include training co‑workers in finishing operations as required. Responsibilities Read and understand finishing requirements from routers, drawings, and specifications. Clean, deburr, and complete cosmetic finishing of machined parts using tools such as burr knife, file, emery paper, countersink, cratex scotch‑brite, and other supplies. Work under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized. Complete required documents and provide supervisor with accurate daily production data. Train and assist co‑workers with determining best methods to achieve desired results in a timely manner. Work at different workstations to meet production requirements. Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order and perform preventative maintenance. Maintain adequate supplies for the finishing area. Work as a member of a team and maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work environment. Actively promote safety, production, and quality standards. Perform other related duties as required or directed. Participate in continuous improvement activities. All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure Benchmark meets or exceeds customer satisfaction. Qualifications Ability to understand blueprints and translate them into efficient work instructions. Manual dexterity. Ability to handle multiple and frequently changing priorities. Good analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to respond to written and verbal instructions. Ability to work overtime as needed. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. 2+ years of working with related materials and processes. Demonstrated experience mentoring or training others. Education High School Diploma or GED. Work Information Location: Concord, CA. Shift: Shift 3 (Fri‑Sun 0500‑1730). Full Time. Compensation Range: $18.99 to $28.49 USD per hour. Compensation decisions consider skills, certifications, licensure, experience, training, and other business factors.
