Personal/Commercial Lines Client Manager

Greater Pittsburgh Insurance Consultants is a locally owned and operated insurance agency in Charleroi, PA. We are committed to providing quality insurance products for individuals and businesses. The Client Concierge / Personal and Commercial Lines Client Manager position reports to a team of Insurance Advisors that service clients with excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering outstanding client experiences at Greater Pittsburgh. You will play a crucial role in fostering client loyalty.

Duties

Client Concierge Duties

• Provide administrative support to the company with a sense of accuracy and urgency.
• Answer and direct calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Greet visitors and callers courteously and promptly.
• Ability to operate and maintain office equipment, including scanner, copier, fax machine and postage machine.
• Assist with typing and mailing projects.
• Process incoming mail.
• Provide data entry support.
• Maintain office appearance.

Client Manager Duties

• Prepare binder certificates, auto ID cards, automobile insurance cards, account summaries, endorsements, policies, lost policy release, and account balance status as needed.
• Ability to work on carrier websites for rating/quoting and making change requests.
• Prepare all invoice transactions including preparation of finance agreements.
• Inform and educate clients regarding policy coverage changes exclusions and other policy information.
• Maintain expiration log of existing assigned book of business.
• Adhere to all agency procedures and E&O guidelines.
• Maintain the integrity of all electronic files by documenting all activity correspondence, phone calls, faxes, and requests for changes, thank you cards, etc.
• Provide technical support to client executives and advisors.
• Participate in special projects and other duties assigned.

Skills

• Strong people skills, including both written and oral communication.
• Prominent level of competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with leading agency management systems. Applied products are a plus.
• Professional style and appearance.
• Personal qualities of integrity, work ethic and an ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to answer phones and use general office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Experience and Education

• Active Pennsylvania P&C License.
• Extensive client interaction experience (virtual and in-person).
• High Diploma (minimum). Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree are a plus.
• Leading insurance designations are a plus.
