We’re looking for a Drinking Water Conveyance Practice Leader to lead this practice across all locations, driving strategy, technical excellence, and growth across critical water infrastructure systems. Practice leaders at AE2S focus on the Technologies, Trends, and Training for their respective practices. As the Drinking Water Conveyance Practice Leader, you will: Shape AE2S’s national Drinking Water Conveyance strategies Expand and strengthen technical capabilities across multiple states Influence project delivery across multiple states Build and scale a nationally recognized practice Collaborate with leadership across operations, client development, and strategy Responsibilities You’ll lead the strategy, technical direction, and growth of AE2S’ Drinking Water Conveyance Practice nationwide. Set and drive the national vision for drinking water conveyance and distribution systems Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all drinking water conveyance projects Anticipate and operationalize emerging trends in water infrastructure and system design Represent AE2S as a recognized voice in the industry through client advisory roles, conferences, and professional engagements Support major pursuits and provide technical leadership in business development Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across offices What Success Looks Like Growth and expansion of AE2S’ drinking water conveyance practice nationwide A strong and visible technical leadership presence in the marketStrong client relationships and project wins High-performing, engaged teams across offices Advancement of innovative drinking water conveyance solutions and best practices Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or directly related field Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) 10 or more years of experience in water infrastructure, with deep expertise in conveyance systems 2 years of leadership experience (team, project or practice level) Strong client relationship and business development experience Proven ability to manage clients, win new clients, and retain clients Ability to travel periodic to support conferences, project pursuits, client meetings, and other business development activities All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations Why AE2S Build Your Future. Compensation And Total Rewards The anticipated salary range for this position is: $120,000-$200,000+ This salary range represents AE2S's good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, technical expertise, licensure, certifications, education, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
