Lead Window & Solar Cleaning Technician (Route Driver)

Job Description

Job Description

Window & Solar Care is a premium residential window and solar panel cleaning company serving the Coachella Valley. We're hiring one Lead Technician to run our route.

Here's the path: you start out working alongside the owner, learning exactly how we do things. Once you're trained, you run the route yourself — and down the road you'll lead an assistant of your own, so the truck runs as a two-person crew. This is a real career track for the right person, not a dead-end job.

What the job is:

- Clean windows and solar panels to a premium standard at homes across the Coachella Valley

- Drive the company truck and run a daily route once you're trained

- Work directly with homeowners and point out services that help them (screens, tracks, solar, regular cleanings)

- Close out each job in our simple field app — easy on any phone

- Each morning we meet at an agreed spot near the first job — leave your car there, ride in the truck, back to your car at the end of the day. No commute to a shop.

Presentation matters here. You'll be inside our clients' homes representing Window & Solar Care, and our customers are discerning desert homeowners. A professional, courteous manner, a neat appearance, and easy, respectful conversation matter as much as a spotless clean — the goal is a customer who feels well taken care of and can't wait to have us back.

You'll do well here if you:

- Show up on time, every day — reliability is everything

- Can work a full day outdoors in Coachella Valley heat (100+ in summer)

- Are comfortable on a ladder up to one story

- Take pride in detailed, visible work

Required:

- Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record

- Reliable transportation to the daily meet-up spot

- Able to work full days in the heat and on a ladder

Big pluses (tell us in your application):

- Window or solar cleaning experience

- Any residential route experience — pool service, pest control, landscaping, irrigation, pressure washing, gutters, solar install, delivery or route driver

- Sales or upselling experience

- Bilingual English/Spanish

- Long tenure at past jobs

Hours and pay: about 32 to 40 hours a week to start, year-round, at $23-27 per hour depending on experience. Please note this position does not include health insurance.
