Job description:

We are seeking a Senior Associate Fullstack Engineer to lead the development of modern, scalable web applications for a complex, high-visibility project. This role requires deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with the ability to architect and build performant, user-centric experiences.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to create intuitive interfaces, establish front-end best practices, and deliver highly maintainable applications. Strong UX knowledge is highly preferred, as this role will drive both technical excellence and user experience outcomes.

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable front-end architectures.
• Develop high-performance, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into seamless user experiences.
• Implement modern front-end patterns, state management, and data-fetching strategies.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Hands-on experience building applications with Next.js.
• Experience with TanStack ecosystem (TanStack Start, Router, Query, or related technologies).
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of component-based design and application scalability.
• Experience building responsive, performant, and accessible web applications.
• Strong knowledge of front-end testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred
• Strong UX and user-centered design knowledge.
• Experience partnering closely with product and design teams.
• Familiarity with modern design systems and component libraries.
• Experience building enterprise-scale digital products.

Nice to Know
• This is a front-end focused role.
• Java, Spring Boot, and Python experience are not required.
• The ideal candidate is a senior-level engineer with deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture.
