Details Acute care hospital CT department with 1 scanner/room Canon 16-slice and 64-slice CT equipment Average of 65 scans/studies per day Common studies include brain, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, angiography, biopsies, drainage procedures, and cryoablation IR nurse handles IV starts as needed Radiologist is on-site Charting system: Cerner; PACS: Radnet and Merge Unity 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM Every other weekend schedule First to float; may be floated to a sister facility approximately 6.5 miles away On-call required with a 30-minute response time 1 major and 1 minor holiday coverage required Requirements Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience Active BLS certification required ARRT (CT) certification required California CTI (Computed Tomography Imaging) certificate required Active state license required if applicable — pending licenses will not be accepted Active certifications required at time of consideration — pending certifications will not be accepted Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies including neurological, abdominal, vascular, musculoskeletal, and interventional procedures such as biopsies and cryoablation Department is led by a Lead Tech with an on-site radiologist; RRAs are not used Manager interview required 12-hour orientation Teal scrubs required; scrubs are not provided Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered American Traveler Job ID #P-708912.
