Overview Job Title : Patient Access Representative (Travel Assignment) Location: Templeton, CA Contract - 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Schedule Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Hours: 8 hours/day | 40 hours guaranteed Pay Rate: $20/hr Description : The Patient Access Representative plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience within the Imaging Center. This position is responsible for patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING Required : Previous medical office experience required (Preferred) Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with electronic medical records (Cerner experience a plus) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner Perform patient registration and data entry with high accuracy Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations Schedule imaging appointments and coordinate with clinical staff Collect co-pays and required documentation Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility policies Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families #J-18808-Ljbffr
