The processes include both primary and secondary operations.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for new product development, including but not limited to:Creation of CNC programs for new productsCreation of manufacturing process for new productCreation of operation prints as requiredCoordinate with quality on inspection methodsParticipate in pre-production process to ensure all items are kitted and available at setup timeCreate and maintain setup sheetsCreate jobs and process documentationPartner with Management and Production on Floor SupportAssist with quoting part ratesLead continuous improvement including, but not limited to:Identify, lead, and Coordinate "Kaizen" eventsIdentify and lead "quick hit" improvementsResearch, procure, and develop new technology including, but not limited to:ToolingWork holdingEquipmentParticipate in quality activities including, but not limited to:Nonconforming Material Review (NCMR)Root cause analysisMaterial review boardMentor other engineers and machinists to improve their manufacturing and engineering skill setsQualifications:High School Diploma, or GED equivalentA minimum of 5 years of experience in machiningA minimum of 3 years' CAM programming experienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering related function.Due to contractual requirements, this position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
