Position Overview We invite you to join our expanding team as a capable and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . Here, your skillset will shine as you utilize advanced ultrasound technology to provide critical diagnostics. You will work alongside a nurturing team of healthcare professionals, dedicated to delivering timely and accurate images that provide comfort and clarity to patients. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, clearly explaining each step and providing compassionate support
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
- Operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Accurate documentation of procedures and maintenance of patient records in our electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
