Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . Here, your skillset will shine as you utilize advanced ultrasound technology to provide critical diagnostics. Description of Responsibilities - Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, clearly explaining each step and providing compassionate support
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
- Operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Accurate documentation of procedures and maintenance of patient records in our electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices
Education Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
Certifications Required - Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
