We'll provide all the training and support you need.What You'll DoLead engaging Scouting programs at schools, housing communities, and partner centers across the Twin Cities metro areaFacilitate Scouting activities like climbing, archery, or leadership games at Base Camp (Fort Snelling)Facilitate activities for youth and young adults with special needs and disabilities in day programs and schoolsPlan and deliver fun, age-appropriate lessons using established Scouting curriculumBe a positive role model-helping youth build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills in an inclusive environmentWhat We OfferStarting pay: $19.00 per hourFlexible scheduling-we'll work with you to create a schedule that fits your lifeMileage reimbursementPaid sick and safe timeThe chance to make a real difference while building valuable experience in youth development, education, and leadershipWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Age 18 or olderHigh school diploma or GEDExperience working with youth ages 7-16 (education, youth programs, recreation, social services, or after-school settings)Valid driver's license and current auto insurancePreferred:Some college courseworkExperience with Scouting or other youth organizationsExperience working with individuals with special needs or disabilitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsNorthern Star Scouting is an Equal Opportunity and Veteran Friendly Employer
