Assembly Specialist

Our client, Fortis Security Products is growing! We're hiring 2 assembly positions for FIRST SHIFT! Location: Lawrenceburg, IN — must be commutable without relocation Fortis Security Products, a leading manufacturer of physical security products for financial institutions and commercial businesses, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Lawrenceburg, IN. We are hiring for a dual-role position combining Assembly Technician and Shipping/Receiving duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Assemble and test physical security products and components with a high degree of quality and attention to detail. Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies including preparing orders, packing, labeling, and coordinating with carriers. Maintain an organized work area and assist with stock and inventory counts as needed. Ensure all finished products and shipments meet company quality standards. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment preferred. Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable team player with a strong work ethic. Schedule Monday through Thursday, 6:30am to 5:00pm. Four 10-hour days with Fridays off. Full-time with potential for overtime. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $18-24/hour depending on experience.
