Student Nurse Intern

**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As our Student Nurse, you will provide vital, supervised patient care and support across diverse medical/surgical populations, leveraging your nursing education within a clinical setting. Every day you will deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene and comfort, meticulously monitoring and documenting clinical activities, and ensuring a safe, organized environment through supply management and strict adherence to safety protocols. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate compassion, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safe, compliant care while actively participating in quality improvement and accurately implementing delegated patient tasks. + Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff + Monitors and records vital signs + Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs + Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output + Obtains and records daily weight + Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter **Job Requirements** Required + High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or + High School GED General Studies, upon hire and + Must be enrolled and attending nursing school(must present proof) and Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school, upon hire + Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association Where You'll Work St. Luke's Health-Brazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas.
