Staff Accountant II

Position Summary:

Nation Safe Drivers is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role is responsible for assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closings, audit support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume accounting environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Review financial data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze information and prepare spreadsheet reports while verifying data accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Respond to information requests and assist with audits.
• Research discrepancies and resolve variances.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience working within a large company and managing a high volume of transactions preferred.
