Role Description The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and interventions, monitoring progress, and documenting care in accordance with clinic standards. The role also involves educating patients on home exercise programs, assisting with equipment setup, and maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Queens, NY, requiring collaboration with the clinical team and reliable hands-on patient interaction throughout the workday. Qualifications Ability to apply core Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation principles in an outpatient setting. Commitment to Patient Care and Quality Patient Care, including clear communication and respectful interaction with diverse populations. Knowledge of Orthopedics and musculoskeletal conditions relevant to outpatient therapy. Active state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New York. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with medical records or EMR systems. Capacity to follow treatment plans, take direction from supervising Physical Therapists, and work effectively in a team. Physical ability to assist patients safely, including standing, lifting, and positioning throughout the day.
