Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Hematology/Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day/Evening), 0700-1930; every other weekend required; holidays on rotation; flexible 4x12 schedule available

Highlights:

• 41-bed inpatient hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care unit at a Magnet-designated comprehensive cancer center
• Work with cutting-edge cellular therapies including bone marrow transplant, stem cell transplant, and CAR T-cell therapy
• Epic EMR system with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of 37 patients; patient ratio typically 3:1 or 4:1
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• Participate in evidence-based research studies and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Chemotherapy certification required (ONS/ONCC)
• Minimum 3+ years recent experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT required
• Level I or Level II Trauma Center or similar-sized hospital experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (80% passing score; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
• Experience with chemotherapy administration, central line management, port access, blood product administration, and stem cell transplant procedures
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available)
