Vice President, Labor & Employee Relations What You’ll Be Doing Lead labor and employee relations strategy for a multi-hospital health system. Serve as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations covering 10 collective bargaining agreements. Prepare bargaining proposals, contract language, and negotiation strategies. Take first-chair responsibility during negotiations while collaborating with outside labor counsel as needed. Provide guidance on grievance administration, arbitration preparation, contract interpretation, and labor strategy. Partner with operational leaders to build positive employee and union relationships while minimizing organizational risk. What We’re Looking For Licensed to practice law in New Jersey, or has NY licensure and eligible for NJ. Experience in labor and employee relations within healthcare or another unionized environment. Someone ready to step into a larger leadership role—even candidates with somewhat junior leadership experience are encouraged to apply if they’ve been heavily involved in negotiations. Strong drafting and writing skills with the ability to prepare bargaining proposals and contract language. Confidence leading negotiations and serving as the organization’s primary representative at the bargaining table.
