As an Electrical Design Engineer in Mountain View, CA, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and troubleshooting advanced electrical solutions that power tomorrow’s innovations.What You'll Do:Design and develop power, control, mixed-signal, and high-speed interconnect circuits aligned with rigorous system specifications.Perform hands-on board bring-up, verification, and integration, tackling real-world hardware challenges with precision.Develop comprehensive test plans to characterize and validate system and board-level performance.Apply industry best practices such as SI/PI and DfX to ensure optimal product reliability, manufacturability, and quality.Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and contract manufacturers to drive project success.Contribute to design reviews and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design notes and test reports.Evaluate emerging technologies and components to continuously enhance product capabilities.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design using Altium or equivalent EDA tools.Hands-on experience with hardware debugging, signal testing, and lab experiments.Familiarity with PLM systems such as Arena.Strong understanding of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, or SerDes.Solid knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and best practices in design.Ability to script using Python or similar languages for automation and testing purposes.Nice to Have Skills:Background in networking, photonics, or high-performance hardware industries.Experience with advanced manufacturing and assembly methodologies.Knowledge of standard electronic manufacturing test processes.Experience working with complex high-speed interface standards and related design challenges.Preferred Education & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience designing sophisticated electrical systems.Demonstrated success in high-speed circuit design and hardware development.Other Requirements:This is an onsite role based in Mountain View, CA; onsite presence is required.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicate technical ideas clearly, and adapt to evolving project needs.Unlock your potential by joining a team where innovation, precision, and passion meet.
