Impact of the RoleYour expertise ensures machines are aligned, calibrated, and producing to spec. You’ll be the steady hand that keeps production moving, quality consistent, and the work environment safe and orderly.
Core Responsibilities- Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machinery with accurate alignment and calibration
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide production
- Continuously observe machine performance; apply adjustments to maintain tolerance
- Conduct routine maintenance to preserve equipment reliability
- Inspect completed parts to confirm dimensional accuracy and compliance
- Document production metrics and maintain precise records
- Work cross-functionally to refine methods and increase efficiency
- Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience operating CNC equipment
- Proficiency reading technical documents and prints
- Strong grasp of CNC machinery, tooling, and processes
- Comfort working independently and within a collaborative team
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and programming updates
- Availability for flexible scheduling and overtime when necessary
