Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) Location Wichita, Kansas Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with on-call requirement Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in a Vascular/Interventional Radiology suite, including 1:1 nursing care during procedures - Monitor and care for patients in a 5-bay holding room with a ratio of 3–4 patients dependent upon acuity - Assist with and support a wide range of IR procedures including kyphoplasty, Y-90, peripheral interventions, stroke and trauma cases, diagnostic cerebral cases, drain placements, biopsies, thrombolysis, and neuro coiling cases - Utilize Maclab documentation systems and paper charting alongside the Meditech EMR platform - Adapt to working across different radiology modalities throughout the shift as needed - Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit schedule Required Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Interventional Radiology RN experience in a hospital setting - Current BLS certification - Current ACLS certification - Ability to work flexibly across radiology modalities and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment Preferred Experience / Skills - Prior experience with Meditech EMR - Previous travel nursing experience at large trauma facilities - 2 or more years of IR RN experience Why Join Us - Work within a well-established IR unit featuring a comprehensive 3-room IR suite, 3-room CT suite, and a collaborative team of experienced nurses and radiology technologists - Gain exposure to a high-acuity, diverse procedural caseload including advanced neuro and vascular interventions in a fast-paced clinical setting Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #744118.
