Salary: $80,000-$110,000 Per Year

About the Role

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team on a variety of building projects, providing structural design and analysis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while collaborating with experienced professionals.

• Horseheads, NY
• Rochester, NY
• Towanda, PA

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Lead the production of construction documents and specs.
• Perform structural assessments of existing buildings.
• Review and apply design codes and standards such as the New York State Building Code, International Building Code, ASCE-07, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
• Use tools like RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, Enercalc, and Revit to bring your designs to life.
• Coordinate in house with architects, MEP engineers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and represent the structural team in client meetings.
  

Qualifications

• A PE license (Structural or Civil)
• At least 5 years of building related structural engineering experience
• Proficiency in design software such as RAM, STAAD, or RISA.
• Experience and understanding of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of codes, detailing, and structural systems
• Clear communication and the confidence to collaborate cross-functionally
