Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Director of Nursing for Region 2 to lead our team of medical healthcare professionals at various correctional locations throughout Missouri. Frequent travel to facilities within assigned territory in Central Missouri and to our Regional Office in Jefferson City, Missouri will be required.

The Regional Director of Nursing provides leadership and clinical direction to statewide nursing program per the direction of the Statewide Director of Nursing. Works closely with onsite Directors of Nursing and nursing staff in the provision of healthcare services to inmates. Coordinates nursing services with multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality, responsive, effective services are delivered.

Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) for Region 2 will be responsible for the following Locations:

• Boonville, MO
• Moberly, MO
• Tipton, MO
• Fordland, MO
• Charleston, MO

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in Missouri
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in examining operations, formulating, developing, and implementing new strategies and procedures preferred
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
• Must submit to and pass drug testing per agency requirements where applicable
• Must have at least two (2) years of related correctional experience or correctional healthcare experience, with a state correctional system
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation, must be appropriately certified in first aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS), and automated external defibrillator (AED) use

Available Shift: Monday-Friday; Four days onsite at one of the facilities within the assigned region, and one day working from home office. On call rotation required.
