Join us and take your place in space.The individual selected will serve as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CSSO II/III) to oversee security operations for various Special Access Programs (SAPs) spanning multiple contractor facilities. In this capacity, they will provide on-site support for security actions aligned with both corporate and governmental policies. The CSSO will act as a liaison between multiple customers, primarily interfacing with Aerospace Program Management and government agencies/customers regarding security matters and requirements. Their responsibilities include supporting the Aerospace SAP team in ensuring compliance with program requirements. Additionally, they will be tasked with developing security plans, applying guidelines, and establishing procedures across various security domains such as Personnel Security, Physical Security, Industrial Security, Information Security, Classification Management, Communication Security (COMSEC), and Program Security.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.What You'll Be DoingOversee and coordinate all facets of SAP security operations by ensuring compliance with applicable policies and laws. Include incident reporting, investigations, access eligibility determinations, and updates to security procedures (e.g., CONOPs, ePAR routing, DD Form 254, PPP, OPSEC Plans, etc.)Oversee day-to-day SAP security operations under the guidance of the Senior CSSO, SAP Manager and/or PSO. Implement SAP accountability system as the SAP Accountability Officer (SAO) and monitor security procedures to protect SAP information, materials, and personnel.Manage access control for SAP facilities, including maintaining access rosters and badging systems. Coordinate Common Access Reports (CARs), Visitor Access Request (VAR) and verify clearances for personnel entering SAPF.Provides initial program indoctrination, CPI annual reviews, security briefing and Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA) program to ensure personnel are trained and aware of their security responsibilities.Develop SOPs for security policies unique to their facilities and SAPConduct annual training sessions and assist with initial indoctrination briefings for SAP-accessed personnel.Complete the development and execution of audits, self-inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Maintain security records, including accountability logs, combinations, and destruction certificates.What You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements for Security Specialist II - CSSO :2-5 relevant CSSO experienceCurrent TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.Knowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals and ICD series manualsAbility to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraphAbility to travel in support of mission requirementsWillingness to work overtime or weekends as neededIn addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Security Specialist III - CSSO include:5-8 years security-related experience performing responsibilities specifically within an SAP environmentStrong knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD SAP Security Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies and proceduresStrong knowledge of JADE, CORE, and other customer-specific systemsHow You Can Stand OutIt would be impressive if you have one or more of these:Bachelor's or Master's degreeCDSE CertificationsWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
