Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Fitter to join a busy steel fabrication team in Sapulpa, OK on night shift. This hands-on role is responsible for fitting, aligning, and preparing structural steel components for welding on large-scale fabrication projects.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous structural fitting experience REQUIRED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately
• Strong ability to use tape measures and standard measuring tools
• Previous welding experience is a plus
• Ability to work safely around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, and automated equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive industrial environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper fit-up and alignment
• Measure, layout, and fit structural steel components for welding and assembly
• Prepare materials accurately according to fabrication specifications
• Collaborate with welders and production personnel to ensure structural accuracy and quality
• Safely operate and work around heavy equipment and fabrication machinery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and production standards
• Support fabrication goals and meet production timelines

Weld / Fit Test Requirements

Candidates must successfully complete:
• 10' T-Plate on 1/4"thick plate (Visual Inspection)
• 3G MIG / Flux Core on 1/2"thick beveled butt plate

Work Environment
• Heavy industrial steel fabrication environment
• Exposure to overhead cranes, forklifts, welding operations, steel materials, industrial machinery, and shop conditions
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, climbing, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance
• Safety-sensitive position due to heavy equipment and hazardous machinery
