Interacts and communicates with patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team by using various communication tools in a timely and professional manner.Responsibilities:Anatomic Pathology Assist in maintaining supplies and helping with inventorySupport quality improvement initiatives and lean processesAccession specimens according to standard procedures in the laboratory information systemProperly identify, label, process and distribute specimens using standard protocolRespond appropriately to internal and external customer needs and communicate any problems or issues to themAssist with pathology send-outsAssist with instrument maintenanceQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED OR An approved equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Qualifications:Certified or certified-eligible with a nationally accredited phlebotomy association OR Completion of ten quarter credits of biology or chemistry college courses OR Six Months of experience in a clinical laboratory settingKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:Customer Service skillsJob Level: StaffEmployee Status: Regular Eligible for Benefits: Yes Union/Non Union: Union Min: $21.77 Max: $25.78Job Posting: Aug-14-2026
