Collections Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in Somerville, MA looking for a Collections Specialist to join their team. This position is Temp (potential to go Temp to Perm), fully onsite and pays $25-$30/HR depending on experience. Responsibilities Manage AR processes: collect outstanding balances, post payments/credits to the GL, and maintain accurate account records for analysis Perform credit reviews and analysis for new and existing customers/vendors while resolving discrepancies impacting collections Support month-end close, including AR reconciliations, schedules, and sales/AR tie-outs Ensure compliance and reporting: maintain sales tax data and exemptions and track credit/collection metrics Experience Required Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of AR and collections experience Strong communication, phone presence, and negotiation skills Advanced Excel proficiency with heavy reporting and analytical capabilities Highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines both independently and in a team environment Compensation $25-30/HR #J-18808-Ljbffr
