The marketing team plays a key strategic role in the success of delivering business results and superior customer experiences, and we are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist - Rentals to join our team. As the Senior Marketing Specialist - Rentals, you are responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring strategic marketing initiatives across various channels that support the business goals and growth plans of the Rentals organization. This role plays a strategic part in boosting awareness and preference for Carolina Cat Rentals products among key decision-makers, partners, and influencers in the construction and contractor sectors within Carolina Cat’s territory. You will translate data and research into actionable marketing plans, develop strategic campaigns that achieve business goals, and understand our customers’ behaviors and needs. You will gain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and differentiators so that strategies can be developed for more-effective communications and brand awareness. This role will develop and execute marketing campaigns that upsell, cross-sell, and drive sales. The Senior Marketing Specialist – Rentals brings strong attention to detail and organization to all projects, and can execute multiple initiatives simultaneously in accordance with the annual marketing plan. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration across departments, teams, and external parties. Both creative thinking and analytical capability are critical, as the Senior Marketing Specialist - Rentals will not only monitor campaign performance and other KPIs but also propose methods for improvement and innovation to drive overall marketing effectiveness. Reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager, you will work out of our Charlotte, NC location. Essential FunctionsAssist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for assigned business unit through strategic marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, market saturation, and deliver superb customer experiences. Support marketing and sales departments through collaboration, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders during implementation of marketing campaigns, projects, and/or initiatives. Develop and drive successful go-to-market plans to include identifying customer needs and market trends, conducting market research and competitive analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and developing compelling messaging and positioning for our products and solutions (new and sustaining).Create and implement marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and adoption; assisting with pipeline build and promotions. Develop and execute lead generation initiatives, including but not limited to content marketing, webinars, events, and partnerships.Drive the creation of high-quality content, highlighting cost savings, equipment availability, and access to the latest models across digital and traditional channels. Present marketing strategies to executive management, business unit managers, and/or sales representatives. Collaborate with our digital marketing team to manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, to increase brand visibility and drive engagement. Work in partnership with the Sales team with the necessary tools, materials, and resources to effectively communicate value proposition to customers. Support overall marketing function through the attendance of marketing and sales events and/or meetings with OEM, business units, vendors, etc. Provide weekly progress reports on marketing campaigns, projects, and/or initiatives, utilizing KPIs. Assist in analyzing effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. Stay abreast of market trends in the industry and/or territory. Responsible for advertising and event budget recommendations and/or allocations. Maintain industry knowledge to support development of strategic marketing campaigns through attendance of training opportunities and/or research. Other duties as assigned. Computer SkillsSuccessful candidate will be advanced in Excel (pivot table, vlookup, data visualization, etc.), Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, PowerBI, and prior experience using CRM tools.
