This position will work under direct supervision, individually, or with a team. Duties include grounds maintenance functions such as working with hand tools and equipment operation. What You'll Be Doing General grounds clean-up and trash disposal. Clean and maintain storm drains. Mow section and garden lawns. Apply landscape chemicals such as fertilizers, wetting agents, herbicides. Assist client families and other guests with grounds maintenance requests. Operate specialized equipment to move materials. Assist in completing interments. Assist in set-up and clean-up before and after special events. Install tents for funeral services. Requirements Minimum of 6 months of experience in a maintenance position. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Must have a caring and professional demeanor and enjoy helping families at a difficult time. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. High school diploma/GED certification. Must be able to work on-site.
