Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an acute inpatient setting, covering the Emergency Department and Med/Surg units
• Manage a caseload of 8–10 patients per day across a variety of case types including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis
• Interpret and apply laboratory values and pathology findings to guide treatment planning
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license in hand at time of start
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated understanding of pathology and laboratory values in a clinical setting
• Strong interdisciplinary communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
• Familiarity with treatment of total joint, neurological, and cardiopulmonary patient populations
