Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring proper staffing and performance management. Communicate expectations regarding conduct, safety, and performance; conduct regular meetings. Manage store opening and closing, including personally opening or closing the store as needed. Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and improve profitability. Oversee inventory levels, ordering processes, and merchandise presentation according to company standards. Maintain accurate inventory records, control damages, markdowns, and ensure proper cash handling and security procedures. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. Ensure compliance with policies, complete documentation, and support staff development. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience in retail management and familiarity with legal labor practices preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on location. Physical & Work Environment Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Use of various equipment and occasional outdoor exposure.
