Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Albany, New York. This role involves providing specialized ICU care across various environments, including neuro/trauma Surgical Intensive Care Units (SICU), Medical Intensive Care Units (MICU), Cardiovascular and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (VICU), Coronary Care Units (CCU), and Progressive Critical Care Units (PCCU). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position starts on July 6, 2026, and is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Position: ICU Float Nurse (RN) Albany, NY
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license; previous travel experience preferred; own transportation or reliable means to travel between units; minimum of zero years of ICU experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in diverse environments, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU/PCC patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) awaiting bed placement. Experience floating to a variety of ICUs is highly desired. A competency test is required within 24 hours of submission, to be sent via the candidates email.
