CT Technologist

Schedule: Fri Sun 7am - 7:30pm. On call and holiday requirement: 2-3 call shifts/month.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• New York State CT Tech License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Two (2) years' experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Injection therapy certification preferred or must be willing to complete during orientation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification before scans.
• Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Insert IVs as needed for tests.
• Position patients safely, utilizing appropriate handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems, including documenting necessary components and ensuring proper image management.

Orientation process will include necessary certification completion.
