Warehouse And Delivery Truck DriverHere at the OTI our innovative sampling tools and diagnostics unlock access to accurate, essential information that advances global health and well-being. Our products include molecular sampling kits for the genome and microbiome, and rapid diagnostics for infectious disease.Working under general supervision loads delivery truck/van with goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly and taking precautions with hazardous goods. Gathers interoffice mail from designated areas, delivers items between buildings and/or departments. Routinely performs additional tasks as may be required or assigned.Snapshot of responsibilities:Picks up all interoffice mail from designated areas; delivers items between buildings or departments; sorts mail where necessaryLoads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facilityEnsures delivery vehicle(s) are inspected dailyReceives freight and checks for damaged or defective goodsDelivers materials, supplies, and equipment to departmentsMay fill department orders from warehouse stockMaintains a clean and well-organized warehouseCross trained in all aspects of the warehouseWhat you bring:Valid driver's licenseCommunicate in English both orally and in writingPerform simple arithmetic; use calculator, scales, and measuring equipmentComplete and review for accuracy all department logsEnsure GMP compliance through use of appropriate physical, written, and work practice controlsAssist with cycle counts and accurately maintain raw materials and finished goods inventoriesWork as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment$18.50 - $21 an hour The hourly range for this full-time position is $18.50 - $21.00.
