About the Position

The Bartender (Part Time) provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.

Responsibilities:

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards
• Building rapport with the guest with above and beyond service
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system
• Check completed orders with the guest's original order
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks

Skills/Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years serving experience in upscale establishment, wine wine/beer/spirit knowledge
• Must be able to obtain any required food handing or alcohol serving certifications required by local or state agencies.
• Hotel/resort experience preferred
• Must be able to be on feet for entire shift and communicate with guests appropriately and effectively
• Above and beyond attitude is required as well as a flexible schedule with ability to work weekends/holidays and evenings
• All applicants must have the proper legal documents to work in the United States.
