Cath Lab Technician - Orange Park, FL

The position is contract-based, and immediate start is available for the right candidate.


Schedule/Hours:

• Four shifts per week, 10 hours each
• 7:00am - 6:00pm

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech or similar imaging role in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and equipment
• Strong understanding of imaging and monitoring during interventional cardiac procedures
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure high-quality results
• Effective communicator with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams
• Current certifications as required for Cath Lab Techs (RCIS, ARRT, or state equivalent)
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, supplies, and equipment for each patient procedure
• Monitor and record vital signs, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Document procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
• Foster a supportive environment for patient comfort, safety, and privacy
• Collaborate with the Cath Lab team for quality patient care and workflow improvement
