Position: Line Cook

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

The Country Club of Buffalo is hiring Line Cooks to join our culinary team!

If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen, preparing quality food, and being part of a team, we’d love to meet you. Our culinary team takes pride in providing high-quality food and service to our members and their guests in a professional, positive work environment.

Our Culinary Team is led by Executive Chef Joe Piazza, CEC, CCA, AAC, who brings extensive country club culinary experience and a commitment to high-quality food and service.

Line Cook Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook food according to recipes and club standards

· Set up and stock your station with the tools and ingredients needed for service

· Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service

· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation

· Follow food safety and sanitation standards

· Communicate and work effectively with other kitchen team members

· Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion standards

· Assist with general kitchen duties as needed

Line Cook Requirements:

· Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred

· Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment (nights and weekends)

· Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality

· Dependable, team-oriented, and positive attitude

· Ability to work independently while also contributing to the team

· Ability to remain calm and productive during busy service periods

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Have a High School diploma or GED

The Club’s amenities include golf, tennis, swimming, trap, skeet, five-stand, and brushwalk sport shooting, six overnight guest rooms, and paddle tennis. The Duane Lyman designed Clubhouse encompasses 55,000 square feet featuring stately living rooms, three dining rooms, and various private party rooms.
