Quality Department Sample Runner / Quality Technician Position is starting as a temp position 1+ months could be longer depending on candidates work ethic, attendance, attitude, and work load GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT BENEFITS Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Rotating 3/2 schedule, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, including every other weekend One position will train on 1st shift for a few Department: Quality Required: Previous quality experience, background check, and drug screen Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Quality Technician with previous quality control or quality assurance experience to work directly with the Quality Manager. This position will transport product samples from the downstairs warehouse/production area to the upstairs laboratory while the downstairs floors are being renovated. The employee may also test samples and document results as directed. Responsibilities Transport samples safely and promptly from the downstairs area to the upstairs laboratory. Assist with sample testing, inspection, and documentation. Properly identify, organize, and handle samples to prevent contamination or mix-ups. Record testing information accurately and report quality concerns immediately. Follow instructions provided by the Quality Manager. Comply with all manufacturing safety, sanitation, hygiene, GMP, and quality procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment and follow restricted-area rules. Assist with other Quality Department responsibilities as needed. Requirements Previous quality control, quality assurance, product inspection, laboratory, or sample-testing experience is required. Must understand the importance of accurate testing, documentation, and sample handling. Must be able to work a rotating 3/2 schedule from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, including every other weekend. One position is 8pm-8am Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a large warehouse. Must be able to repeatedly travel between downstairs and upstairs work areas. Must be dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable following strict procedures. Must be able to work in an environment with rules and sanitation standards similar to a food-production facility. Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
