Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Weekend Warrior every Saturday

Job Title RN Weekend Warriors Registered Nurse Working Supervisor Rate $60 per hour, includes shift differentials Shift Availability 7am-7pm Every Saturday and Sunday = 24 hrs weekly Responsibilities The RN Nurse Supervisor plans, controls, and executes the nursing services required by the residents. Supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility according to local, state, and federal requirements, ensuring residents receive highest quality care. Together with the Nursing Director, plans operations and emergency support, coordinates nursing activities with medical needs, instructions, and care plans, and adjusts care plans as needed. In absence of superiors, assumes total responsibility for operational decisions, manages emergency situations, ensures relief staff presence prior to leaving, and notifies the resident's personal physician of significant changes or immediate medical care needs. Qualifications Must hold a current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing. Must have previous experience in a supervisory capacity. Attention to detail, good follow-through skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team. Long-term care experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing, medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
