Appliance Service Technician

Overview Metro Appliances & More in Oklahoma City has a full-time position available for an Appliance Service Technician. We are looking for a technician skilled in diagnoses and repairs appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and ovens. Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM No weekends Pay: 50K plus Requirements Must pass a criminal background check. Pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical. Must have a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities Inspecting appliances to identify malfunctions, using tools to test components, and using schematic drawings. Replacing parts like pumps, motors, seals, and circuit boards; dismantling and reassembling units. Explaining repair options, providing cost estimates, and advising customers on proper usage. Recording parts used, time spent, and completing invoices. Understanding electrical circuits, gas systems, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing. Strong critical thinking skills to diagnose complex issues.
