We aim to help our clients live safely and comfortably in their homes and communities—promoting their overall health, well-being, quality of life, independence, and happiness—ensuring peace of mind for both clients and their loved ones.Job description:The role of a caregiver at Golden Care is to provide high-quality, non-medical care and support services to clients, delivering care with professionalism, empathy, compassion, kindness, and in a respectful manner. Some caregiver duties include, but are not limited to:Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.Providing clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors (i.e., wandering, paranoia) a safe and secure environment by monitoring their health and safety, as it is a priority.Assist clients with all their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) in accordance with individualized care plans (i.e., personal hygiene assistance — oral care, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, etc.)Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean-living environment.Meal preparation and assist with feeding if needed.Transferring & Ambulation — provide safety, stability, and support while client is mobile and during transfers.Transportation (i.e., appointments, grocery shopping, errands, outings, etc.)Requirements needed to apply:MUST have at least 3 months of professional experience working as a caregiver;MUST be, or willing to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA);MUST be able to clear a criminal background check by the DOJ/FBI;MUST have a current Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test (or willingness to complete one);MUST obtain a valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle;MUST be 18 years of age or older;MUST be able to provide 2 forms of ID such as a Driver's license, social security, Passport, and/or Birth certificate;Responsibilities:Follow clients’ provided plan of care, safety precautions, and procedures.Monitor, observe, and report suspected concerns or change of clients' condition or health status to a supervisor or the appropriate parties immediately.Communicate effectively and respond to all forms of communication from the office in a timely manner.Skills needed:MUST be reliable, dependable, and be on-time.MUST dress professionally.MUST be kind, empathetic, compassionate, respectful, have a positive attitude, and great work ethics.MUST have a passion and the desire to help others improve their quality of life, while maintaining clients' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.MUST be comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and care documentation.Benefits:Paid training (paid at minimum wage).Bi-weekly pay.Flexible schedule (4-to-15-hour shifts.
