Diesel Mechanic

As a Diesel Mechanic – Experienced (Service Tech IV), you will perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. Each day you may improve and challenge yourself, and you have the potential to work toward leadership roles in the Service Department. You will also provide exceptional customer service to our customers. What You'll Do Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools, using a high degree of independent judgment. Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer‑owned equipment; maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner. Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed. Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily and in a timely manner. Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment and parts. Perform other duties assigned as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Five or more years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools. Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools. Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams. Must own tools applicable to the position. Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs. Benefits Paid parental leave. United Compassion Fund.
