Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Straight Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years experience required License: RN License (New York License only) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS certification Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Description: An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and more. As a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, we see many acute and complex patients. As a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, we work with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population.
