Salary: $900 - $1100 Per Session

Through our Camp Greentop Respite Programs , we provide unforgettable weekend getaways for youth and adults with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities. Every weekend is packed with fun, friendship, and empowerment - and we need YOU to help make the magic happen.

As a Camp Respite Counselor , you'll be a guide, friend, and role model for campers during weekend retreats. From leading games and songs to assisting with personal care, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and joy-filled experience that campers will never forget.

• Supervise and engage campers in recreational, social, and creative activities throughout the weekend.

• Provide hands-on support with daily living tasks such as dressing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility - with respect and compassion.

• Foster an inclusive, positive, and fun camp culture for all participants.

• Assist in behavior support, conflict resolution, and promoting positive social interaction.

• Collaborate with fellow counselors, nurses, and program staff to ensure camper safety and well-being.

• Support setup, cleanup, and transitions between activities and meals.

• Be an energetic leader, a caring companion, and a dependable team member.

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to work weekend shifts (typically Friday evening to Sunday afternoon)

• Passion for working with individuals with disabilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor!

• Ability to assist with physical tasks, including lifting, transfers, and mobility support

Preferred:

• Experience working with youth or individuals with disabilities (camp, school, recreation, etc.)

• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Background in special education, social work, psychology, or recreational therapy

• A fun, active, and meaningful part-time opportunity
