As our Corporate Counsel, you will be the main point of contact for legal contract review and contract management, supporting Kuehne+Nagel’s Road Logistics team in the United States. You will act as the primary reviewer for US contracts, but will also support in key global initiatives. How you create impactYou will be the central liaison for Business Unit Logistics contract review and negotiationsWork with business owners to review contracts with subcontractorsCollaborate directly with Global Leadership of your Business UnitWork with internal business owners to review and submit comments on RFP's and contracts being negotiated and liaise with other counsels when requiredCoordinate activity with approved legal processes for contract review as provided for under our Contract Review Policy of North American General CounselInteract with Kuehne+Nagel's Compliance Officer to assure proper adherence to our Code of Conduct and Government requirements of anti-trust and anti-corruption nature;Together with business owners, interact with insurance brokers, Nacora and Anchor Risk Services, to assess need for procurement of additional insurance coverage for the individualThis position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
