Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, microservices, cloud-native development, and distributed systems, with a passion for building reliable and scalable enterprise applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
• Develop and enhance microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design APIs and define interfaces between distributed system components.
• Build, optimize, and maintain highly available, scalable backend platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices.
• Experience building scalable, distributed, and highly available enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Sybase.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and application performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go programming.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience building cloud-native applications using open-source frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment tools.
