Veterinary Assistant - Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital Cary, NC | Part-Time | 24 hours per week | Some weekends & holiday shifts Pay: $16.00-$19.00/hour based on experience Welcome to Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital, where top-quality care meets small-town charm in the heart of Cary, NC. - Veterinary Assistant with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients
- Confident, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently while thriving in a team environment
- Anesthesia and surgery monitoring experience is a plus
- Assist with patient care and support veterinarians during appointments and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Answer phones and assist clients with scheduling and questions
- Check patients in and out
- Provide compassionate client communication and education
- Support daily hospital operations and team needs
- Assist with kennel care during holiday shifts-we all pitch in when needed
- Part-Time: 24 hours per week
- Some weekends and holiday shifts required
- Schedule will be determined based on hospital needs
